Rain, Rain go away . . .
the headline of the paper today was "the wettest January in 36 years ends with . . . more rain." can you believe it?! as of the 20th of January we had three times the amount of rain for the January average. after seeing that headline i realized that it wasn't all in my head that it seemed like it has been raining soooooo much. so much so that i couldn't believe my eyes yesterday.as i was leaving the house yesterday i saw this cat sitting in the pouring down rain in my front yard. i'm used to seeing cats running to get out of the rain. this cat just sat there in the pouring rain then just walked slowly down the sidewalk on to whereever he was headed. he seemed so resigned to the fact that it is raining and is going to continue to rain.
so there it is, rain. there's even a storm coming in tonite. on top of that its as if everybody has forgotten how to drive. traffic was incredible. it must have been all the Californians freaking out. OR maybe it was all the people who usually take public transportation are sick of standing in the rain so they drove to work instead. arrrgghh
i guess there is one good thing about this. i don't have to worry about donning the summer clothes that i can't fit into any time soon. blub blub blub

yes, the rain, a constant reminder that I have to get a leak fixed in my car. miss you KT, it's been a good season down here, thanks for the email, talk to you later eh?
