Waiting for the Sun to come up

portland.jpgIt's late, can't sleep, I hear the birds calling for the Dawn. Doing some praying, sent a prayer to a friend and realized I haven't blogged in quite awhile. To blog or not to blog that is the question. I'm increasingly amazed at Andrew the tall skinny kiwi's blog. He's always got something to say. He also goes lots of places, sees lots of people and lets many of them post as well.

So, what would I blog? I don't feel creative or funny lately even though I was recently accused of being funny and seeing humor in most things. It being 4:46A in the morning isn't very humerous really. I don't want to say anything that would be too "Dear Diary." I'm sure that would leave most people yawning.

So I guess I'll say to who ever might check in, THANK YOU for thinking of me. Sorry I don't have anything enlightening to say, but thanks again for stopping by.

i like reading andrew jones' blog "in moderation". (if i knew him personally, i would probably read it everyday.) but as it is, if i read it daily, i get writer's block for some reason. it's my own doing; i put him on a pedestal and i think i have the same audience as he does (which is extremely far from true) and therefore i have to write at the same level as he does. for me, this is a recipe for writer's block. it's taken me a couple of years to find my voice, and i would say that i'm still only scratching the surface. it's really hard to write in a public forum, even if your audience is only a dozen or so good friends and an occasional stranger. love to you kathleen. keep writing.
