"Should I stay or should I go?"

I just had lunch with my friend who lives in Israel. She became a citizen there about five years ago because she is Jewish, but she is there to reach the lost where ever she can. She talks to Israeli cab drivers, University students from all over the world, and her neighbors. We also talked about the prayer rooms in the Land. She says there is one in Jerusalem called Succat Hallel, I knew about this one. There is also one in Tel Aviv called Tabernacle of David. Both are going 24/7 and the one in Jerusalem has different teams from different nations and languages doing various watches. The one in Tel Aviv is mostly contemplative and meditation.

Then she said I should come stay for a month. She suggested I stay two weeks in Jerusalem at the Succat Hallel to do some watches there then go to Tel Aviv for two weeks. If you stay in Tel Aviv you can stay on the campus and are "required" to do at least 4 hours of a watch/prayer per day.

"Oh, be still my beating heart."

Don't worry anyone, I don't think this is the time or the season, but its so wonderful to hear about the prayer the Lord is raising up in the Earth. It's hard to be in love with a city you don't live in - and for me there are many. My heart feels so torn. At the same time I love what the Lord is doing here in this city. However, sometimes it doesn't seem as romantic because we're involved in the day in and day out stuff of living. But, this is where I'm planted, this is where I live. So for now, I will pray for the people who are commited to prayer in Israel. If ever there's needed to be prayer in Land it's now and it will continue to be so.

Lord, open the eyes of the believers there from all nations and races to love & serve one another and to live one accord. May this be the testimony to the nations and to the sons of Jacob who are waiting for the Messiah. Lord, open the eyes of the young people there who are tired of hearing about the Holocost and couldn't care less about a Messiah. They just want to be able to go to a club without worrying if a bomb is going to cut their lives short. We pray for the Peace of Israel.

wow, kathleen....what an exciting thing to dream about. mary engelbreit may say, "bloom where you're planted" but everyone knows that everything planted comes from a seed dropped by the wind, or a bird, or someone's hand. who knows, maybe the Spirit will blow or send or have you plant a handful of seeds in Israel?
