Oh, happy day!

Yeah, I slept today.
It was the alarm that woke me up this morning at 7:30A. I know some of you are already at work by this time - but hey. Its the first morning in two weeks that i've not been awake at 4A.

I get to start the day with the Irish. This guy Doug, from Bakersfield, showed me this cool website done by some Jesuits in Ireland with guided prayers and daily readings. Its great for wanna be contemplates like me who can't sit still to save their lives. On Wednesdays a few from DHOP have been meeting for contemplative prayer, which has been great (when i get there), but in the AM even choosing a passage to start with is something I can't do. Its really helpful for someone else to make that decision for me and I simply follow along. Check it out www.sacredspace.ie
